About Us

My Dream Caravan is run by a family who love caravan holidays, and exists to help UK families find the right caravan and lodge holiday without wading through dozens of individual park websites. We bring together caravan holiday parks from four established UK holiday operators — Shorefield Holidays, Away Resorts, Wood Leisure and Park Holidays UK — in one place, organised by region and by what each park is actually known for, whether that’s watersports, the New Forest, or a stretch of coastline.

How We Select & Describe Parks

Every park featured on this site belongs to one of our four partner operators, Shorefield Holidays, Away Resorts, Wood Leisure or Park Holidays UK. We don’t accept payment from individual parks to be featured or ranked more prominently, and every destination page is written to reflect what that specific park offers — its facilities, location, and the kind of holiday it suits — based on information published by the operator.

We keep listings current by periodically checking park details against our partners’ own sites, and we welcome corrections from readers or from the parks themselves if anything looks out of date — see our contact details below.

How This Site Makes Money

My Dream Caravan is a member of the Shorefield Holidays, Away Resorts and Wood Leisure affiliate programmes. If you click through to a partner site and book a holiday, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is the only way the site generates revenue — we don’t run third-party display advertising, and we don’t accept paid placements from parks or operators outside our four partners.

Commission arrangements never influence which parks we describe positively or how we write about them. Our aim is to give an accurate, useful picture of each park so you can decide if it’s right for your family, whether or not you go on to book.

Our Editorial Policy

• Content is written and maintained by us, the family behind this site.
• Park details are sourced from our partner operators’ own published information.
• We update pages when we become aware that park facilities, pricing structures, or offers have changed.
• Affiliate links are clearly disclosed, as set out above.
• If you spot an error or an out-of-date detail, get in touch and we’ll correct it.
