Caravan Holidays in New Forest & the Hampshire Coast
Ancient woodland, free-roaming ponies and a cluster of parks around Milford on Sea.
The New Forest is one of the few places in southern England where you can still pull up on a quiet lane and find a pony or donkey wandering across the road — it's a genuine National Park, with over 200 square miles of heath, woodland and small villages between Southampton and the Dorset border.
Caravan parks here tend to cluster around Milford on Sea and the coast near Lymington, putting you close to the Solent, the ferry across to the Isle of Wight, and the forest's cycling and walking trails in the other direction. It's an easy, scenic base rather than a single big resort town.
