A Postcard To Our Visitors

Welcome and thanks for stopping by at My Dream Caravan — we hope you find something useful and fun for your next caravan holiday!

As a dad of three young children, I know how important family time is. We also know that a caravan park is the perfect place for a family holiday. Either by the seaside, or inland.

I was also fortunate to grow up on the North Devon coast. My favourite days were going to the beach, eating fish and chips, and playing in the arcades. Wonderful days that we regularly enjoy repeating with our own children and their grandparents.

We know how much joy it brings them to be able to swim and ride the slides in the day, visit the arcade in the afternoon, with sometimes even a small gap to fit in an activity. My eldest loves a craft activity, painting a pot or making a t-shirt. My middle child loves to climb and try her hand at archery, and my youngest boy loves discovering new things to play with at a stay and play.

Then, occasionally, my wife and I can enjoy a drink together while the children are being entertained with dancing and games at the mini disco in the evening.

We also know that caravan parks aren't just for summer. We love an autumn break — last year to the South Devon coast to carve pumpkins, and this year we are heading back to Great Yarmouth for a New Year celebration.

We built this site to showcase and celebrate all the brilliant things a caravan holiday has to offer. To help you find a great last-minute seasonal deal, and to celebrate all that is great about a British caravan holiday.

You will see that much of the photography on the site is from our own holidays and places we have visited. We want the site to feel as fun, honest and authentic as possible.

The site is 100% free to use and always will be. We get a small payment from the holiday park if you book a break. No pressure to — we honestly don't mind if you don't. I say that to be honest and transparent on how things work.
