Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

My Dream Caravan (mydreamcaravan.co.uk, “we”, “us”, “our”) helps UK families find caravan and lodge holidays by bringing together parks from our partner operators in one place. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this site, why, and what rights you have over it.

Who we are

This website is mydreamcaravan.co.uk. If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, please get in touch via our Contact Us page.

What data we collect

Contact form

If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and, if you choose to provide it, your phone number, along with the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.

Email newsletter

If you sign up for our weekly caravan deals email, we collect your email address so we can send you that newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — for example, which pages are popular and how people found us. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device (including cookies named _ga and similar) to distinguish visitors anonymously. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Affiliate links

This site earns commission when you click through to, and book with, our affiliate partners: Shorefield Holidays, Away Resorts, Wood Leisure and Park Holidays UK. These links are served through the AWIN affiliate network. When you click an affiliate link, AWIN and the relevant partner may set their own cookies to track that the booking came from this site, so we can be credited for the referral. We do not receive or store any payment or booking details from these transactions — they’re handled entirely by the operator you book with. Listings for other operators (shown for comparison only, where indicated) are not affiliate links and earn us nothing.

Standard WordPress cookies

Like most WordPress sites, this site may set a small number of technical cookies needed for the site to function correctly (for example, remembering form submissions). These are not used to track you across other websites.

How we use your data

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your contact form or newsletter details for anything beyond what’s described above.

How long we keep your data

We keep contact form enquiries and newsletter sign-ups for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or for as long as you remain subscribed. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see “Your rights” below.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our Contact Us page. If you’re not satisfied with how we’ve handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add a new feature that collects data. We’ll update the “last updated” date above when we do.
